Oz-Tal Computer Systems Ltd. attaches real importance to providing an equal standard of service to all of its clients, and works to make this site usable by people with disabilities.
The site has been made accessible in line with Israeli Standard IS 5568 at level AA, which is based on the W3C's WCAG 2.1 guidance, and with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations, 2013.
The accessibility toolbar
The site carries an accessibility toolbar, opened from the accessibility icon in the corner of the screen or from the keyboard. Among other things it enlarges and reduces text, changes contrast and colours, highlights links, stops animation, adjusts spacing and turns on a keyboard navigation mode. Your choices are remembered for later visits.
What has been done
- Correct semantic structure with a proper heading hierarchy, so screen readers can navigate it.
- Full keyboard navigation, including a clear focus indicator and a skip-to-content link.
- Open menus close with the Esc key.
- Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 between text and background.
- Alternative text on every image; decorative images are marked as such so they are not read out needlessly.
- Form errors and confirmations are announced to a screen reader, and focus moves to them after submitting.
- Form fields are marked up so the browser can fill them in automatically.
- Browser text enlargement up to 200% without breaking the layout.
- The system preference for reduced motion is respected.
- Full support for right-to-left reading direction.
What is not fully accessible
The contact page embeds a Google map. The map is a third-party component whose code is not ours, and it may not be fully accessible. The office address is also given on that page as plain text, and we are happy to give directions by telephone at any time. If you come across anything else that is not accessible, please tell us and we will deal with it.
