Your company's files are probably in several places at once: some on the office server, some on the project manager's laptop, some in an inbox and some on a USB stick nobody can find. The moment somebody needs a particular version of a document, or has to send a large folder to a client, real time starts disappearing. We work with RushFiles, a Danish file storage and sharing platform for business that has been running since 2012. Unlike storage services built for consumers, RushFiles was designed for organisations and is sold only through service providers, so the setup, the permissions and the support come from us rather than from an anonymous help desk abroad.

Cloud storage is not a backup
One point confuses a lot of businesses, so it is worth stating plainly: syncing is not backing up. If a file is deleted or damaged and that change syncs to every device, it is gone from all of them. The version history in RushFiles is a genuine safety net and does let you go back, but it is not a substitute for a proper backup plan. We build both layers together, so the business is protected against human error as well as against failure or attack.

- Mapping: where the files are today, who uses them and how much space they take.
- Choosing the structure: folders by department, project or client, with the permissions to match.
- Migrating the existing files, keeping the folder structure the team already knows.
- Installing on staff desktops and laptops, with a short handover for the team.
- Ongoing support: adding users, changing permissions and sorting out problems.
The move happens gradually and without stopping work. At first the files stay available in the old location in parallel, and the full switch happens only once we have confirmed that everything is present and working.
